We are here to support you every step of the way as you prepare to become race-ready. Whether this is your first race or your fifth, your sisters are here to help you train and encourage you to reach your goals! Our signature event is the Gazelle Girl race in Downtown Grand Rapids, but we also participate in other races and volunteer events throughout the year. Check back frequently for event updates!


Gazelle Girl 2020

5K/10K/Half Marathon • April 19, 2020

The Gazelle Girl is an annual all-women race in Downtown Grand Rapids sponsored by Gazelle Sports. Whether you're looking to complete your first 5k, 10k, or half marathon, or you're looking to set a personal record, this event is for you!

Registration for the Gazelle Girl is open through April 18, 2020.

How Sole Sisters Supports You

Feeling race-day jitters... or even race-registration jitters? We mean it when we say that we're here to support you every step of the way—and make sure you look and feel your best on race day!

Training with Sole Sisters gives you access to:

  • A community of women of all abilities working together to complete the Gazelle Girl (5k, 10k or half marathon)

  • Weekly group training opportunities with water, sports drink and nutrition

  • Access to the Sole Sisters Clothing Closet

  • Clinics to help with nutrition, injury prevention, and event day preparation

How to Join

Ready to run or walk with us? Sole Sisters' joining fee is $60 per person. Sole Sisters is happy to offer a scholarship to cover the cost of the joining fee plus much more! Click below to register to train/fundraise or apply for our scholarship.
